FAQ
Are models from LDD 1.6 compatible with LDD 2.0?
In most cases yes, however, there are some bricks that have changed or been removed from LEGO Factory since the release of LDD 1.6 and these bricks could be missing from your model when you load it.

LDD 2.0 has built in "collision rules". This means that some models that you could build in LDD 1.6 were actually built in a way that is physically impossible; with the "collision rules" this is no longer possible. This means that LDD 1.6 models that were built in a way that is physically impossible cannot be fully loaded into LDD 2.0. The colliding bricks will automatically be removed by LDD 2.0.
