Chris Giddens – fan designer of Star Justice
LEGO Factory has landed two fantastic Space Exclusives, one being Star Justice designed by lifetime LEGO fan Chris Giddens, a Childrens’ Minister from Georgia, USA.

Chris has been a LEGO fan for more than 30 years and today he still has the bricks for his very first LEGO kit in his 600.000 LEGO brick collection. From the very beginning Chris has been particularly passionate about the LEGO space theme, even with his first BASIC sets in the 70’s. With Star Wars, Star Trek and other great shows being so popular, Chris always sent his LEGO figures into space. His first space set was the 6901 Mobile Lab. After he built that, he was hooked for life.

The freedom to create whatever you like is what makes LEGO fun. "I build what’s in my imagination. With LEGO I can create my own Universe", Chris says. He shares his enthusiasm for the LEGO with fans from all over the world. He has been an official LEGO Ambassador and is the co-founder of the online LEGO forum Classic-Space.com, and helps organize DIXIELUG, a local adult fan club. He also attends LEGO community events such as Brickfest and Bricksouth.

When he’s not busy discussing space ships, sci-fi, and building techniques online, he likes to spend time in the toy stores. Many times parents mistake him for a toy story employee because he’s so keen on helping out when parents are buying LEGO for their kids. His response to the parents when they ask if he works in the store, he always replies: "No, I just like LEGO". Chris uses LEGO in his work as a Minister to celebrate creativity and give kids encouragement. "Kids are awesome, and LEGO is a great developmental toy and teaching tool."

With the launch of the Star Justice Space Exclusive, Chris is realizing a lifelong dream. Chris puts it this way: "It’s a chance to bring the Adult Fan experience back to the kids. Children are always very excited about the Space creations as I and other Adult fans present our Space models at LEGO events and now children get the opportunity to get into our designs and build and rebuild good spaceships and vehicles". The Star Justice set lets you build beyond what’s printed on the box and lets you go and create your own Space adventures and fight the battle against the evil Space Skulls.
