LEGO Factory Terms of Service

No purchase is necessary.

The LEGO Group is not responsible for lost, distorted or misdirected uploads to LEGO Factory Gallery or to the on-line order procedure.

The LEGO Group will review your model before it goes up on the LEGO Factory Gallery or is ordered on-line. All models must be your own original design. If you have been inspired by creations already posted by others on the LEGO Factory Gallery, please give credit in the description field to the original design when submitting your model.

Your model must not show identifiable products of other companies or show or incorporate any logos or trademarks, neither your own logos and trademarks nor others’. After your model has been screened by the LEGO Group, the model will immediately be published on the LEGO Factory Gallery on LEGO.com. The only information accompanying your published model on the LEGO Factory Gallery will be your nickname, age, country, model name and descriptions. Please note that we may need to or ask you to rename your model if the name chosen by you is trademarked or otherwise protected.

Models ordered through LEGO Factory may not be used to promote any business, products or services, neither on your own behalf nor on behalf of others.

Models that, in our opinion, are considered indecent, obscene or excessively violent are not acceptable. If you have submitted such a model, the model will be removed and your membership at LEGO.com and the LEGO Club may be cancelled without prior notice.

Please be aware that your model, any ideas, concepts, know-how, suggestions or techniques in your model, feedback or any communication which you send to the LEGO Group as part of your model submission ("your Material") become the property of the LEGO Group and therefore the LEGO Group has the right to use your Material, for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to developing, manufacturing, marketing and selling products using your Material.

You should expect other users of LEGO Factory to use your Material and take inspiration from your creations.

Models built "on-line" and/or via software can have technical features and functionalities included (i.e. smoke, light etc.) in the "on-line" version and/or the software version of such products which are not included in the actual products when purchased.
If you order a large quantity of one custom model, we may combine them and ship them in one box.

This site is owned and operated by LEGO A/S, a corporation incorporated under the laws of Denmark, having its principle office in Denmark. LEGO A/S maintains this site for your personal entertainment and information. Please feel free to browse the site. You may download material displayed on the site for limited, non-commercial, personal use only, provided you keep intact all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices. You may not, however, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute in any way the contents of this site, including the text, images, audio and video for public or commercial purposes, without written permission from LEGO A/S.
